OSP Permit Coordinator -
Position Type: 1099 Contract.
Location- Minnesota and Illinois.

Work Schedule: Hourly.

We are seeking an experienced OSP Permit Coordinator to support fiber/network deployment projects by managing permitting activities across multiple municipalities. The ideal candidate should have prior experience handling OSP permitting processes, coordinating with local authorities, and supporting project teams with permit tracking and approvals.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate the permitting process for OSP/fiber construction projects.
Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with municipalities and local agencies.
Review basic OSP design layouts and construction drawings for permit submissions.
Work with multiple municipality permitting portals and ensure timely updates.
Follow up regularly with local authorities regarding permit status, revisions, and approvals.
Maintain accurate permit records, trackers, and project documentation.
Coordinate with project managers, engineering, and construction teams for permit-related requirements.
Attend online meetings and occasional in-person meetings as required.
Visit local municipalities when necessary to resolve permitting issues or obtain updates.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in OSP permitting coordination or telecom/fiber permitting projects.
Basic understanding of OSP/fiber design layouts and construction documentation.
Experience working with municipality permitting portals and local agencies.
Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
Ability to manage multiple permits and deadlines simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and documentation tracking.
Must be local to the respective project location.
