Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to lead and manage the AP function for a Telecom TSP company. The role involves handling vendor payments, process controls, compliance, team management, and ensuring timely closure of payable activities with strong coordination across internal departments and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable operations for telecom business activities.
Manage vendor invoice processing, payment scheduling, and reconciliation.
Ensure timely payment of telecom vendors, contractors, infrastructure partners, and service providers.
Monitor AP aging and maintain healthy vendor relationships.
Review and approve payment proposals, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
Coordinate with procurement, SCM, business teams, and treasury for smooth processing.
Handle statutory deductions including VAT/WHT/TDS as applicable.
Drive automation and process improvement initiatives in AP functions.
Support monthly closing, accruals, and financial reporting activities.
Manage internal and external audits related to AP processes.
Lead, train, and mentor AP team members.
Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualified CA Inter/M.Com/B. Com/
8–12 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in Telecom/TSP industry.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems, value addition if having experience for Sage.
Good understanding of telecom vendor ecosystem and operational processes.
Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in handling high-volume transactions and multiple entities.
